We are committed to listening to residents and we want you to be at the heart of everything we do. We want to make sure you are involved in our policy and decision-making processes and that we offer a wide range of opportunities for you to have your say, scrutinise our performance, comment on service improvements, and any proposals that may affect you.
Have you heard of our champion roles before? They provide tenants with the opportunity to drive service changes, from personal experiences or from their desire to promote positive service development. We have 4 champion roles available (more than one person can be involved in each role):
Publications Champion: The role is to work with our teams on our resident publications including our Housing Newsletter and Annual Report.
Complaints Champion: This involves actively reviewing our approach to complaints we receive from our tenants, residents and leaseholders. You will work with the Housing Team to look at complaints, ensure we are being fair, are putting things right and learning from outcomes.
Estates Champion: The Estate Champions role will involve the monitoring of grounds maintenance, and if applicable, communal cleaning and communal fire alarm testing, in your area. You will be asked to carry out inspections and report back to MDH once a month.
Zero Carbon Champion: To work with MDH in our commitment to zero carbon by 2030. We’re looking for people who care about the future and are willing to support us in making green improvements to their home and community.
You can view a full description of each role in the document section. If one (or more!) of this roles sounds like something you would be interested in please get in touch with our Tenant Involvement team using the contact details on the right hand side.
