Help us improve Council Tax support – Have your say
We’re looking at how we can make Council Tax support fairer and more helpful for people of working age in Mid Devon – and we’d really like to hear your thoughts.
Each year, we review our Council Tax Reduction scheme – that’s the discount some people can get if they’re on a low income. This year, we’re planning some changes to how it works for working-age people (if you’ve reached pension age, your support comes from a national scheme, so this won’t affect you).
We want to:
Give more help to households with the lowest incomes
Make the scheme more stable and consistent for people who get support
Make sure all adults in a household are contributing something towards the bill
This is your chance to tell us what you think.
